Biography
Phonwiset Phonrattana-anan is an associate in the firm’s dispute resolution practice, with a focus on litigation and complex disputes. She has experience advising and representing clients across a range of contentious matters, including civil and commercial disputes, class actions, bankruptcy and business rehabilitation, and white-collar crime.
Her practice is supported by a broader background in corporate and commercial matters, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, regulatory compliance, and telecommunications, allowing her to provide commercially informed advice in dispute contexts.
Prior to joining the firm, Phonwiset worked at two international law firms in Bangkok, where she advised both private and public companies across various industries.
Phonwiset holds a Bachelor of Laws (Second-Class Honours) from Thammasat University, and is admitted to practice by the Lawyers Council of Thailand. She is also an Extraordinary Member of the Thai Bar Association.

Key Experiences
Advised a global automotive manufacturer and its affiliates in defending a civil lawsuit and class action petition involving 534 plaintiffs and class members, concerning allegations of defective products and misleading advertisements under product liability, consumer protection, and class action laws.
Assisted a gold mining company in Thailand in administrative proceedings against government authorities relating to the renewal of a metallurgical license, as well as in defending civil and class action claims involving 398 plaintiffs alleging environmental damage under the Enhancement and Conservation of National Environmental Quality Act B.E. 2535.
Represented a leading Southeast Asian hire-purchase and microfinance company in high-value, multi-forum disputes, including business rehabilitation proceedings before the Central Bankruptcy Court and related civil litigation involving allegations of wrongful conduct, voidable transactions and substantial damages claims, with aggregate claims of approximately THB 8,020 million.
Advised a leading Thai telecommunications provider on agreements relating to the construction, development, and operation of a commercial satellite project.
Assisted an auto parts manufacturing group in Thailand in defending civil, criminal, business rehabilitation, and bankruptcy proceedings, including matters involving its Japanese director.
Represented a leading steel industry company as plaintiff’s counsel in business rehabilitation proceedings and related civil claims.
Represented a major department store in Chiang Mai as plaintiff’s counsel in business rehabilitation proceedings and related civil claims.
Advised a reputable securities company in Thailand as an objecting creditor in business rehabilitation proceedings.
Advised Thailand’s only fully integrated water infrastructure company on a range of legal and regulatory matters relating to its construction and pipeline network management business.
