Bangkok, July 2026 — Our Partner, Sittiwate Jewsittiprapai, welcomed the 13th cohort of Thammasat University’s International LL.B. Program in Business Law on 17 July 2026, alongside Dr. Seree Nonthasoot (UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights) and Khun Natthapat Thawiwannabun (The Asia Foundation Fellow, Adviser to the Governor of Bangkok).
He opened with the question new law students are too polite to ask: did I just choose a dying profession? Then answered with live demos of his own anonymized partner work — a client strategy presentation and a cross-examination plan. AI drafted and sparred; it never decided. “The moment I let it decide, I am not a lawyer. I am a typist with a licence.”
His message: AI doesn’t replace you — it multiplies you. Zero times a million is still zero. The four years ahead are for becoming a number worth multiplying: curiosity, discipline, communication, empathy.
His close: use every tool you can get. Just don’t let it cook your rice.
